EPISODE 15
With the model coming along, in this episode we get a better idea in 3D of the design and relationships of the various elements -- their complimentary shapes, proportions, visual weight, and balance. Might be time for a full size pattern and mock-up of the leg tonight. Watch and find out. And be sure to comment your questions or observations below. Thanks for watching!

QUESTIONS (hear the answer at the noted time):
• Is the top going to be one set of laminated boards, or three circular tops joined together? ( 00:09:40)
• Would the grain of the veneer be intersecting or all running the same way ( 00:16:18)
• Do you use 1/2” hard board for your patterns ( 00:25:47)
• You said you're using the 3/16 inch scale, can I assume that means 3/16 of an inch on your model is equal to 1 inch on your full size piece? ( 00:27:03)
• Why not use the dogs in your bench to hold the piece? ( 00:39:04)
• Would you keep the hard straight lines on the legs or will you round them over? ( 00:40:27)
• Is pillowing the leg, or rounding the edges going to impact the joinery down the road? ( 00:47:32)
• What do you find as the best band saw blades brand wise? ( 00:53:26)
